I know there’s a few COVID-cautious people still out there. You pretty much never see them irl (because they’re hiding just like me). Every once in awhile I still need to venture out to buy groceries so there’s a chance you might see me wearing a mask. 1/

I’ve wanted to have an off-grid power system much of my life. Today I decided to look into how much batteries cost since I know they’ve been coming down in price. $36/kWh….I remember when they used to be $1,000/kWh.

In 2026 let’s work to promote world peace by working toward making oil worthless. In many parts of America, oil is already so cheap it sells for less than the amount of money it took to produce it. Renewable energy is a big part of why that is happening. 1/

Funny little story. The GOP keeps cancelling US battery factories. Too woke, too green, you get it. So we buy batteries from China. Trump puts tariffs on China to bring manufacturing home. China cuts back on selling batteries to the US. “China can’t do that! Unfair!” That is called poor planning.

In the not too distant future the existence of quantum computers will mean anyone will have the ability to hack into your bank account and drain it. They will be able to hack into your crypto account and drain it. One solution is to have a society without the existence of money. Any other ideas?

I propose a hypothesis that the degree to which a nation is free can be measured by two factors: the level of trust the citizens have for their government and the level of trust the government has for its citizens.

I wonder how many pro-fossil fuel American consumers understand that by getting rid of wind and solar it would raise the price of fossil fuels. Competition keeps prices low. By getting rid of competition fossil fuel companies can raise prices.

The US has the goal of bringing manufacturing back to the US and ending reliance on other countries for goods. Let’s assume the US accomplishes this goal. Now let’s say the US wants to sell to other countries. To be competitive the US will need the US dollar to be much weaker than it currently is.
