The first rule of establishment club is you don't talk about being part of the establishment and instead you use your comfortable and lucrative platform as a pundit, columnist, or other establishment commentator to denounce everyone else for being the establishment.

Maybe I could be the next James Bond. I’m very similar to Bond, in that I first appeared more than fifty years ago, I fuck up a lot of expensive gadgets, and I’m totally unrealistic.

There's only one way for the BBC to deal with a spiteful rightwing megalomaniac who wants to see the corporation destroyed. It must take the usual approach and invite him to appear on Question Time several times a year.

The BBC has been going downhill ever since it stopped requiring radio announcers to wear formal evening dress on the grounds that nobody could see them. And now it's so woke that nearly all BBC Radio programmes are recorded in the nude. Not a lot of people know that.

The BBC needs maintenance work, not demolition, unless you want it replaced by a sinister clown show like Fox News, or forced to advertise to make it as shitty as everything else. If so, you don't understand what makes it unique, and quite possibly how to tie your own shoes.

The fact that the BBC is reporting on what the BBC did wrong is why we need the BBC. Critical self examination is one sign of a serious news organisation. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail still hasn’t admitted it supported Hitler.

I listened to the two minute silence on BBC Radio 4 for Remembrance Sunday and I'm pretty sure they simply broadcast a repeat of the same silence they used last year. Disgraceful.
