I think a lot of us get hope wrong. Hope, I do not believe, is an emotion. In fact, hope makes space for lots of emotions to exist alongside it. You can DO hope scared, angry, sad etc...

Basically: hs seniors + bucket of ice water + timer = a way to kill half an hour and have it be slightly relevant to the lesson plan.

My cat is not the brightest but he IS smart enough to know:
- which rectangle is Mom’s Work Rectangle
- that I will not put the Work Rectangle aside for him (he needs to eat)
- what time I get done with work
For when the Work Rectangle goes away, it is Mandatory Cuddle Time with Oscar
- which rectangle is Mom’s Work Rectangle
