Today we are marking the start 31 years ago of the National Lottery supporting good causes including heritage🤞 Since 1994 National Lottery have invested a massive £8.9 billion in more than 48,000 heritage projects in the UK – all thanks to National Lottery players.

Alton Abbey in Hampshire not only housed a community of monks, but gave homes to destitute and retired men from the maritime world at the south coast.
We are delighted that the Minister and Historic England have listed this Hampshire abbey church and buildings at Grade II.
