Almost definitely. Genesis especially is more of a tapestry bringing several related but diverging traditions back together. 19th century rational fascism can’t handle contradictions though so it erases instead.

What's absurd to me is that Israel wants to position itself as the authority on Judaism and any disagreement makes you "fake" or "self-hating". Other faiths have the Pope and the Dalai Lama, and they don't have or need an entire country, and we see other denominations as still Christian and Buddhist
