The DS is one of my favorite consoles ever. So many incredible experiences and phenomenal games. The four that come to mind are games that excel on the DS: while you can absolutely play them elsewhere (via re-releases or emulation), there's a real magic that comes from the dual screen experience.

33. The Sins of Lord Lockwood by Meredith Duran
Marriage-in-trouble books are hard to do well, but damn Meredith Duran absolutely kills it. Both sides have wronged the other, both are hurt and dealing with their own issues and each other, both have to forgive and be forgiven. Just a great book.

I joked to my book club that if I had a nickel for every book we read where a guy got turned inside out, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.
(Really enjoyed Asunder, though!)

Amnesia is a trope rarely done well, but Meredith pulls it off expertly. We have a heroine who is truly in the wrong, a hero trying to redeem himself for past transgressions, and some really great villains. Just an all around banger.

Some prime "draw the rest of the fucking owl" going on, but once I started I needed to finish it. Not because it's great but because I wanted it off my desk. Extremely finicky, had to use pliers to get some pieces together, falls apart if I look at it but it was also only 11 dollars, so.

In my on-going quest to build a suit from every Gundam I've seen, I have bought a third party bootleg Stargazer from AliExpress.
However this goes, it'll probably be better than spending eighty dollars on an old kit, right?

I'm almost through my AGE quest and it's a show I do not think about for even a second after I've finished watching an episode. Paced too quickly but also plods along. Some decent suit designs, though!

Being extremely busy at work plus cohost dying plus being gamer mode for a while now means it's been a bit since I finished any model kits but I'm happy to have completed two of my white whale kits: the Mercurius and Vayeate!
