I always keep a little supply of cartridges but I would never refill them. They’re too small and fiddly. I’ve got a converter for about 70% of all my pens now that way there’s no plastic waste.

Get her a very a small spiral notebook else perhaps the other option is a gift card for the stationery store or an art shop if you know that the recipient would do either of those that way they can pick something and if they’re really enthusiastic they will spend a little bit more themselves

Well how about a preppy fountain pen a bookmark and some of those teabags in a small box you know like a pack of five that way you’re encouraging her to write read and everybody loves tea when they’re doing those things some people like it with milk of us like it with lemon or honey

Despite all of that I have had an amazing life. But I dont often tell some of the stories I prefer to focus on now.

Despite that I used to be friends with (as in real friend get invited to watch shows from back stage) some very well known European & American musicians but there was always a timing issue, venue issue or a health issue.

Well I believe its due to the cost of coming here and the fact that there is only 2 million people and only one large city. Also a problem buying anything >>> anything slightly more exotic eg unusual musical instruments. unusual hobbies >>> only 1 embroidery shop, 1 fountain pen shop

I know but Im in Perth. Western Australia which Im told is the most isolated capital city in the world. Once Def Leppard and Scorpions came here but I had a broken foot and due to being prone to infections I couldnt risk anyone treading on my foot and I couldnt stand for longer than 10 minutes.

Finally able to walk on my treadmill and lift weights from tomorrow.

I started renovating last Christmas but had to stop after having 2 serious accidents. The new dining table from Ikea has been propped up against a wall in my front room in 3 boxes for 11 months.

A good idea but wont be trying it till January 2026. Ive got to spray weedkilller in my backyard, finish internal rennovations in my apartment, program my new camera and get outside with it,restart extensive exercise after 5 months of recovery from injuries.....first.

I think mine is called an Expert but not sure. Its a nice pen buti its a medium nib and the ink flow seems too thick unless I turn the pen the other way around and use the back of the nib.
