Ive just tried my new Kakuno fountain pen and it writes beautifully. Joy oh joy. Its a fine nib and you can tell just by the feel as you write.It quite smooth and not scratchy.

Yesterday cleaned out my 2nd bedroom/hobby room and gave away/threw out stuff I wasnt using. Feel so much more organized. My pencilcases, all painting/drawing paper and inks are in my computer room desk. My journal + 2 pens are mobile with me and my bookshelves are full of just books & neater. Yay!

people love giving their opinion but they may see things differently to you because theyve experienced A different life to you.However an opinion is not fact. You cant control how they behave but you can control how you feel when you get reply. You can mute them, block them or just scroll past.

You order home delivery of groceries so they arrive by lunchtime so you don’t have to buy something extra separately and what happens apparently they’re going to be an hour late because there’s too many people ordering home delivery

My water pan cost $150 but I don’t regret it. It was worth it. I’ve been using it every day since I bought it. I discovered the local shop can get converters for it so I’ll go in for a look sometime before Christmas. I won’t get them to mail it to me. It’s such a small thing.

@sundazed.bsky.social I looked at the stock from the two fountain pen shops that are here in my hometown and nothing got excited. There was one really nice pen that had a Harlequin pattern and they had the Peanuts pens but I didn’t like them enough to be tempted

Bad news....the two fountain pen shops here in Perth Western Australia (one of which has 5 stores around Australia both sell a LOT of the Ferris Wheel Press fountain pens, ink and other merch AND Australians are buying it and its selling out in all of the stores.

Ive just disovered my attractive fatman cigarshaped mini fountain pen bleeds through my travellers diary pages.Im wondering if its because the in is in the body, it doesnt go through a cartridge or converter (its dropper only). Too much seems to flow. I have to use paper that is 200-300gsm

I think we all know about the eternal fight between you and the ink and using a converter and managing to keep your fingers clean. Today I had a win while inking at one of my fountain pens. Here is the evidence of the small stain on one finger I am celebrating. I think it deserves an Olympic medal
