Repaired a final-gen ipod touch today, and it was a perfect example of why I don’t like modern Apple products: it required soldering to remove and install a new battery. when compared to a classic ipod, which was just a connector, the modern electronics truly aren’t built to be serviceable.

I don’t know how to sufficiently express to all companies everywhere that I don’t want the item/service I use to have a social component. “Want to share what you’re listening to amongst your friends?” NO! I want to listen to the same terrible song 100 times and not be judged.
