This sequence of images was taken over about four minutes on 9 August 2020 by NASA's Curiosity rover. The dust devil was estimated to be between 500 m and 1,000 m from the rover, and about 5 m wide. It was at least 50 m tall.

I was hoping to get down to the Cape, but couldn't make it happen this time. But my fingers and toes are crossed for a safe and successful launch and deployment of the ESCAPADE spacecraft (Blue and Gold), which will loiter at L2 for about a year, before starting to make their way to Mars.
