Decorously panicking. Reading poetry to the Mad Hatter. Listening to Haydn with the Walrus. Hanging on to the grin of the Cheshire Cat. Arts, films, stuff.
Not podalistically inclined myself, but that IS rather beautiful*, @magus-smillsoid.bsky.social.
(Neruda and the ballet reference help a lot. Still, honour to whom etc etc)

Unsolicited and probably unpopular opinion:

if internet domestic animals are imagined as being able to talk at all, they should be able to do it properly and not in that artificial baby-foozly-gobbledygooky way.
C’mon people, one small last effort of imagination. Can’t be that hard.

“George is the winter Persephone”
George is the winter Persephone, going down weeping into the earth with his broken, his torn-out, his given-away heart, and emerging next year with it regrown and ready to make the same mistake all over again.

Another turtle. This one is only about 6 lbs. I was going to toss it away, but I needed one last piece to fill a show. Went to the scrap pile where I had tossed in, 30% finished, and finished it. Turned out to be the best piece in that show.

Looks like the serial offender here is Lav Diaz.
I don’t know him (and might choose to postpone his acquaintance indefinitely unless persuaded differently. Any takers?)

I know only two from the list, and loved both: 1900 (and never mind the critics- what do they know), and Fanny and Alexander.
