let's call that a *generous* interpretation; it is still an insurmountable failure of leadership to try to both-sides the issue ("well, we TRIED"/"it's a pacifier, it'll never happen") or to play chicken w/ the petro-fascists, rather than to offer an actual vision for a sustainable future for cdns.

This doublespeak is offensive nonsense: lower emissions by expanding pipelines and shipping more fossil fuels? Do you think because the fuel will be burned elsewhere the emissions don't count? Capture is just a shell-game scam. What a load of bad-faith PR spin. For shame, @mark-carney.bsky.social
