Many, many, many years ago JP Montoya gave an interview describing how unbelievably obtuse the garage/engineers were. He could radio in that a wheel came off, we could see it come off on screen, but if it didn't show up in the telemetry they would tell him he's wrong.

Ran into this problem a few years ago trying to buy bicycle stuff from EU and UK. Went from "acceptable" to $50 for a $40 part almost overnight, and I haven't bought from the old world since.

If I'm reading this right, I think the issue is that Google changes everything to something it calls webp, which is definitely NOT a png.
