Have you heard of a Veterinary Social Worker before? VSWs are specialized mental health professionals who focus on where humans and animals intersect. They often help animal care teams create healthier workspaces, address compassion fatigue, burnout, and the decision-making and grief of euthanasia.

Wildlife rehabbers fly high when we release animals, but we witness so much suffering too. Massive workloads, financial struggles, and societal inertia can be stressful & demoralizing too. This month's free #wildliferehab seminar is all about staying healthy and resilient for our important work.

Tomorrow I’m participating in a charity walk for the IWRC. If you’re seeing this please consider giving, even $5. Wildlife is constantly hurt by people. They are hit by cars, run into windows, killed by our pets, kidnapped; some are hurt on purpose. Help mitigate these harms. tinyurl.com/4xvkymw3
