95. Black Sun by Rebecca Roanhorse: a fantastic set-up that unfortunately only hit "this is okay" levels for me; nothing is bad and in fact everything is very competently done, but I feel like something vital was missing. it's still a fun read, and I want to check out the sequel, but...yeah

painful as it can be, I will always love the process of WHATEVER I'm doing as much as the product, if not more

I got mine through the Kitchenaid website - they have a section for refurbished machines! I got the 6-quart pro mixer because I bake a lot (mostly bread) but the 5.5 quart one should be able to handle a fair amount

I would recommend a stand mixer because it does SO much along with being great for kneading bread - I got a refurbished Kitchenaid for about $240 and I have no regrets

granted this is my bare bones minimum emergency fund, but by the end of the year I'll have my very cushy six month fund in place

and other than student loans I'm carrying no debt from month to month, so shout-out to me for actually doing really well and planning for the future
