People act like Roy L. was some kind of master criminal, they should check out the business practices of the Goodmans and Donenfelds for some real theft

Like even during peak last year. I never had to handle loading more than eight trucks. It was getting to people regularly getting 10 during the slowdown that happens in September. Also finding excuses to hit people with safety violations for termination. Which happened to me.

The whole concept was you work only 36 hours (yes I did 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm) and got paid a bit better than the four day weekly 10 hour shifts. Lot of people moved tonthe week day shift in October cause the weekend "bonus" was no longer there.

It was "shift differential" pay adjustments. I worked the three day weekend shift Sat-Mon, it was an extra $2.50 an hour. The new adjustments are honestly too convoluted to fully explain here, but they pretty much cut the extra pay on Monday is the easiest way to explain it.

Last year wasn't bad at all, but this year, the hurt was put on the supply line people in so many ways and I was seeing a lot of long time people get fed up with it. I feel for those who are still doing that grind.

Pretty much a measure to prevent mass quiting when the rumors were going around when we had a surprise meeting back in July.

It was a tough job, but the pay was hard to beat in this area, but then that got wrecked and I was glad I got let go over a dumb safety violations honestly.
