the hitler fancam has now been up for over two hours with over sixty upvotes. this is beyond passive tolerance. it's open acceptance. everyone involved in allowing this bigotry to continue in the game's officially endorsed subreddit should feel a deep and abiding shame over it.

i cannot emphasize enough that this subreddit is linked to on the game's main menu. that is an endorsement from the studio of the subreddit as its main public facing fan community. and the community in question is just wall to wall bigotry.
a screenshot of two comments from a post on the suzerain subreddit about the community's vitriolic hate toward monica rayne and vina toras. the top comment is from IntelligentJob30 and reads: For the past 1-2 years this community has been taken over by mouthbreathing political extremists who launder their odious views through Suzerain. tl;dr Monica and Vina are women and the closeted fascists On Here hate any woman who isn't a doormat for the male protagonist. what counts as "characterization" for male characters becomes "nagging bitch" for female characters. the reply from the op, Affectionate_List304, reads: That seems to be the case, yes.

having a bio saying you "stand against fascism" while defending people who are compromising with fascists on stripping rights and protections from some of the most vulnerable people in this country is a certainly a choice.

complaining about it once again. it's not on a company to control the fanbase or be responsible for its community, but once it's linking to a toxic, racist subreddit that's the largest visible community for suzerain from the game's title page, that qualifies as an endorsement of the sub. and, well:
a reply to a post on r/suzerain about how the subreddit is attracting "legitimate unironic racists". the username is blacked out and has a usp flair, and the comment reads: "it's literally been this way for years on here, stop acting like this is some recent problem that threatens to ruin the sub. it's been this way for as long as i've used this sub, it's a part of the culture, don't ruin it."
