Leftish socially aware small business owner. (Yes a Chippy!) Living in Belfast. Loves politics, my husband and my French Bulldog Cybil. (In reverse order!) Hates Brexit and all those involved in it.
Also love cars, any type any age. Yes I’m that sad.
Perhaps. Listen to the interview with the News Agents podcast. He was, in parts, a little rattled and IMHO a bit testy and sometimes his argument seemed a little thin.

However he is the best thing to happen to the Greens.

Shame, being in Belfast, I can’t vote for him.

I agree. He has lifted the Greens from virtual political obscurity to being heard. No mean thing when most of the media is besotted with Deform.

The art of converting that to votes is a skill that is not easy.

Welcome to the United Kingdom where you are always guaranteed that nothing works!

But compared to Belfast it’s a paradise…

I think you are right. Both Farage and Polanski tend to either wilt or get testy under scrutiny.

They better get used to it.

And did you have a dog sitter or a companion.

We plan to bring our dog to Spain, via a 37hr ferry. Probably madness…

And that outcome somehow isn’t that surprising.

I hope you got home ok?

Free speech is only my speech.

Nothing else could and should be considered.

Johnson being ill prepared and blustering wrong response should be punished.

A slip of the tongue nearly cost her her life. It certainly extended her and her family’s misery.

Division and confusion would be a more appropriate name for “your party”

The Greens proved that more than one leader didn’t and doesn’t work.

A sad inditement of confused thinking and infighting.

Higher rate mobility is difficult to get. My wheelchair bound friend only got it on appeal.

The right wing papers always look for the small percentage that cheats the system.

In this case the bad apple theory doesn’t apply.
November 30, 2025 at 9:48 PM
You can when the world’s leaders look the other way.

Reflected genocide stains all of them.
November 30, 2025 at 9:46 PM
An excellent article, thanks Stephen for suggesting it.

As it stands the budget was one of the longer suicide notes a political party could present…
November 30, 2025 at 9:31 PM
That is a motto for life.

Shame Microsoft wasn’t told about it.
November 30, 2025 at 8:54 PM
So “Your Party” isn’t their party. Inclusiveness at its finest.

No wonder the Greens are resurging both in member numbers and polling data.
November 30, 2025 at 8:52 PM
The whole things is a shambles. Appropriate as the countries services are in the same condition…
November 30, 2025 at 8:47 PM
More like demented gibberish…
November 30, 2025 at 8:45 PM
Apparently on the continent they are already incorporating critical thinking and dissemination of facts.

We will perhaps consider it about ten years…
November 30, 2025 at 8:43 PM
It’s almost worth believing in religion and praying. The same prayer for the orange bastard across the water…

Almost, just not quite.
November 30, 2025 at 8:41 PM
I’m not sure that turn it off and on works with an old car?

I speak with experience, although not ability…
November 30, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Some have an odd version of liberalism…
November 30, 2025 at 8:11 PM
I asked. After the funny look he gave me he said his accent doesn’t change.

He obviously never considered it…
November 30, 2025 at 7:23 PM
He passed the “can you see him as PM” test in the way that Corbin or Kinnock didn’t.

The press has a lot to answer.

Perhaps Levinson 2 would answer them.
November 30, 2025 at 7:20 PM
The BBC seem to have a strange version of impartiality…
November 30, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Especially if you use it as intended!
November 30, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Both Chris and LauraK seem in thrall to Reform. A voting intention isn’t a vote. They seem to forget this.

Strange impartiality isn’t it?
