Additional, do not advertise on social media that you are going to a protest. It can and will be used against you if they start detaining people. Wear eye abd face protection, avoid giving out your real name, do not carry identification with you to the protest site.
Reminder: You do not need to sign up for protests. For your own safety, you should not be putting your name on a list of people protesting.

I've been pretty quiet about it, but I got a bit of pretty rough news recently about a close family member. It's not anything I want to talk about at length, if I've been a little distant from my normal haunts, this is partially why.

Human civilization was initially built on a foundation of empathy- complex language, medicine, agriculture all group efforts unachievable without empathy, without a basic drive to help one another.
We need too keep this in mind moving forward or we will destroy ourselves.

I slipped on pine needles getting the mail last night and sprained my ankle something fierce. I can't move it too well, but the pain is managable.
Word to the wise- layers of wet pine needles on concrete are nearly as slippery as ice.
