I'm really enjoying Code Vein II but I have no idea what sort of relation it has to the first one. A sequel? Prequel? My best guess is that it's neither and it's a whole different story that's remixing stuff from the first game, Final Fantasy style. Honestly, that's cool af

Maybe I'm stupid but what's the point of the new Marathon game? Or extraction games in general? You run in, get good gear, only to... do it again? Unless you die and lose it all and you still have to do it again anyway? Sounds like a Sisyphean torture method with lore you can watch on YouTube later.
