The cover of the Pulling Focus record by Action/Adventure, which I thought was fine. It is a photo through the front passenger window of a car past the side mirror with rain blurring and obscuring the view. It appears to be taken when the sky is a very dim blue, perhaps after sunset or while the clouds are real thick. In the distance, red, yellow, and green blobs of blurred light are organized like a lit up sign or maybe an emergency vehicle, not a traffic signal. One bright white light is halfway off the edge near the top left corner. The band name and record title appear in the lower third in a yellow serif font not unlike credits from a show in the early 80's. The title is in larger font that the band name and takes up a majority of the width of the cover and the band name is above it in smaller font and left-justified.

Promo image for the game Gorogoa, which I thought was pretty good. The border of the image is a cluster of light, fluffy clouds of varying widths and the title of the game appears at the top in the front of the clouds in a thin serif font with a vertical line through the middle O. On the left of that line the font is grey with a black border and on the right it is solid black. In the irregular space between the cloud border, a giant green eye peers eerily at the viewer. The top lid of the eye is purple and the bottom lid is salmon colored while the green rings of the pupil takes up a significant part of the eye itself. The iris of the eye seems smooth and spherical but the border of it has a lighter green flame-like pattern. The eye it self also has a strange mystical symbol-like border of tendrils reaching out in a pale yellow color with more layers of this pattern in different colors below. For all the math nerds, one of the deep layers appears to be the Mandelbrot set in a nice teal color.

The record cover for the 7" Go To Waste by Blikk Fang (part of the 2nd Polyvinyl 4-track 7-inch series), which I thought was not great. It is part of a larger image when you put all the records together. This section has a white background and a wide dark green and lighter green striped path that looks kind of like a leg bent at the knee and goes all the way up the right side then diagonally down from the top right to nearly the bottom left. A black dotted line curves underneath the diagonal part from the top left third down to the middle of the bottom. In the bottom left corner there is an arc of yellow-green and a hint of a stripe of light green.

The box cover for the game Ace Combat 2, which I thought was pretty good. Along the left and bottom side is a thick black border with the various logos, PlayStation on the left with the text and graphic logo, the ESRB T rating in the bottom left corner, and the Namco logo in the bottom right corner. The main image is a vertically split half blue half white background with the game title in the middle of the white half in a metallic silver sans serif font and a red bird-like shape looping around the end of the word "combat". The blue side is overlapping technical drawings of a fighter jet, one a wireframe viewed from the top and one filled in with grey and viewed from the side. A promo image for the game Outer Wilds, which I thought was pretty good. The main image is a dusk scene on a very small moon that extends off of the lower right corner. The part that is visible has a number of scraggly winter trees on it, a bulbous spacecraft has landed on the top right, and a campfire burns brightly on the top left. The atmosphere quickly fades to space and stars as the smoke from the fire drifts up perpendicularly to the moon's surface. The title of the game is at the top in an orange gradient. The "Outer" part is in a spacey all caps sans serif font and the O is an eclipse icon with a little moon to it's upper right. "Wilds" is in a mildly serifed all caps font and the letters are increasingly falling apart as you move left to right. The I is a Douglas Fir style tree and each letter has a few little tendrils or branches coming off of them.

Action lines suggest that she is surprised to find her brother beside the fridge. Her hair is in pigtails. Oh, and both of these folks have pale skin.

The record cover for Jets To Brazil's "Four Cornered Night", which I thought was fine. At the top is a green banner that goes almost all the way across with the band name on the left in a Helvetica-like font with little mid-century stars around it. The right side of the banner has what looks like a rectangle of lined notebook paper the same height as the banner but shifted down and the title of the record appears in lower case typewriter font on three lines, one for each word, with "four" and "night" shifted to the right but "cornered" on the left. The main image of the cover is a painting of a bird walking through an autumnal forest and lake scene. The trees are different shades of brown and their leaves are gold and orange. The bird's beak and body are basically horizontal and point to the left. It has a grey body, black wings, and white tail. Also, it has very tall legs.

The box cover for the game Ecco The Dolphin, which I thought was not great. The background is the classic Sega Genesis box cover with the black graph paper design. At the top is the Sega Genesis logo, a metallic badge that looks sort of like a sombrero with SEGA very small at the top, Genesis quite large and "16-bit cartridge below that). The game title is at the bottom with "Ecco the" in a horizontally stretched all caps yellow serif font and "Dolphin" in larger blue font with yellow shadow but the D, L, and N have their lower serifs stretched to resemble dolphin bits. Clever. The main image is of a very shiny and blue dolphin leaping from the sea in an almost circular arc. There are visible stars on its head and a dolphin friend in the background also leaping. Part of the underwater scene is visible and the ocean appears chock full of tropical fish and a big ol' shark. Above the water, the sky is blue and there are some blurry mountains along the horizon.

The cover for the bootleg Pick A Winner 7" by Green Day, which I thought was fine. The cover is mostly green with the band name in large silver sans serif font with a white border that goes weirdly around the font shadow. At the bottom in a darker green than the background is the title Pick A Winner in a bold sans serif font followed by "1994 UK Radio Session" in a thin sans serif font. In the midst of these sets of text is a black and white photo of the band. Mike is on the left just barely in frame kind of holding his head, Tre is on the right fully in frame and looking at the back of Billie Joe's head in a mildly bemused but vacant stare, and Billie Joe is taking up about half of the frame with his finger firmly planted in his left nostril, pushing his hand so that the finger is bent back very far, his head is tilted down and he is staring directly at the viewer. All of them are wearing dark clothes and have messy hairstyles and the background is just black. Very bootleg of a cover for being at the peak of their popularity.

Promo image for the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, which I thought was fine. It is a classic fighting game image with the good guys on the left and the bad guys on the right all impossibly stacked up and making fighting faces and stances. On the left we have all the turtles, April, and a guy with a mask and a hockey stick that I don't remember all brandishing weapons and making grimacing faces. Splinter is in the middle but facing the bad guys and holding a bat? On the right is Shredder at the bottom and then all the classics, Rocksteady, Bebop, Krrang, and some others whose names I forget. In the middle of the face off is the title of the game with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the comic book logo style and Shredder's Revenge below that in a purple-shadowed sliver 3-D font with pointy serifs (like knives) and the S and R being extra tall.

The cover for the self-titled Aristeia CD, which I thought was fine. The cover is a solid brownish-orange color with the band name at the top in an all caps sans-serif slightly rounded edge font. The letters are all different sizes, though generally small, and spaced moderately widely apart, taking up about the middle third of the top of the cover. I spent a lot of time talking about that band name because that is the only thing on the cover!

The cover for the I Like Fucking 7" by Bikini Kill, which I thought was fine. It is a mostly red cover, with the band name in their signature all caps sans serif slightly askew font, looking like it was cut out of a magazine and pasted on the red background. Similarly styled, a part of a photo of the bassist or guitarist has been cut around the outline of them standing with their hands up seemingly on stage or otherwise in front of their amp and pasted just below the title, offset to the left of center. That's it!

A promo image for the game WRC Generations which I thought was not great. It is a heavily edited image of a rally car zooming towards the viewer's left. All of the natural background has been overlaid with a purple and grey sort of shattered window graphic vaguely making the car look like it is breaking through some purple plate glass or something. I don't think this is on purpose, though. The title of the game is in the top third with "The Official Game" in small all caps sans serif font, the WRC logo, and then a little yellow racing stripe graphic followed by the word Generations in all caps sans serif font. The rally car itself is in a purple, yellow, and blue livery with a few sponsors here and there.

The record cover for the Please Drive Faster 7" by Braid, which I thought was fine. It is a white cover with a picture of two toy race cars (Datsun 510's if I'm not mistaken), both white on the sides with two stripes and a large number. #35 has a blue top and #46 has a red top. The band name and song titles are in an all caps old Western-style font with rounded serifs on the bottom and pointy ones on the top. In the top left corner it is the Band name in black with Please Drive Faster in smaller red font below, followed by the b-side as B/W Circus Of The Stars in even smaller black font. The band name also appears vertically on the right side in very large translucent red font with Please Drive Faster laid over the top in white and the b-side rotated 180 degrees to that also laid over in white and Please Drive Faster in smaller font laid over the top of that.

It is a greyscale cartoonish drawing of a forest scene with the main character in the bottom third standing by a body of water, maybe a pond. The main character has a rounded triangular face with the mouth near the end of the triangle and the eyes near the base. They are wearing a hood, a hat, headphones, a backpack, a camera around their neck and a long jacket where their two legs stick out the bottom. The Blue Collar side of the split 7" by them and Bumpin' Uglies, which I thought was not great. The cover is four drawings of varying quality of members of the band, one in each corner. The top left shows the bassist wearing crosshatched pants and a longsleeve shirt with a squiggle pattern and is drawn the worst with one arm seemingly protruding from the stomach of the character and the face just above stick figure quality. Top right is the drummer drawn better but still creepy with the hands pressed unnaturally towards the foreground making the hands very large but the drumsticks they are holding quite thin. The face is a very creepy smile drawn moderately realistically. Bottom left is one guitarist drawn from a very low angle and throwing the rock on sign at us. The cable of the guitar is comically enlarged to seem like a third leg though the guitar is too small, as is the non "rock on" arm and the head. Bottom right is another guitarist drawn with two "rock on" hands crossed across their chest. The guitar is very low slung and also very small, they have a barely visible anarchy symbol on their sweatshirt, medium length curly hair that sticks straight up and a cheesy grin. There's a price tag in the top right corner, label information for JAK records at the bottom and the band name appears in the middle in a hand drawn serif font that is organized in a moderately chaotic fashion with the "l" from blue stretching down to be one of the l's in collar.

The arcade machine banner for the game Choplifter, which I thought was not great. The title of the game appears in bold heavy serif all caps font made into 3D letters extending back a bit towards a vanishing point just like you learned in art class. Above the title is the SEGA logo. Behind the title and brand logo there is a war scene with three helicopters, a tank, and a building of some sort. The tank is mostly hidden behind the title but one black army helicopter is flying very closely to it maybe after attacking it with a missile? The two other helicopters are in the corner on the left above the building, one of which has a person in a red shirt and khaki's dangling from the arms of a rescuer inside. Exciting stuff.

The box cover for the game Ark: Survival Resolved, which I thought was bad. At the top is the usual blue PS4 banner with the Playstation logo and PS4 logo. In the bottom left of the main image, the rating symbol appears (teen) and on the bottom right, the logo for Wild Card, the developer, is a playing card with red and black writing and the Wild part of their name has claw marks through it. The main image is of a female presenting soldier with an automatic rifle, riding and holding the reins of a screeching dinosaur in a jungle scene with two pterodactyls in the back ground and a tall tower that is split down the middle until it meets up at a kite-shaped structure. The tower is shooting blue light into the sky and the whole thing is happening just at sunset or sunrise. The title of the game is prominently in the middle of this in a futuristic font where the A looks like an upside-down V. Above the game title is a stone-like A (this time with the horizontal bit in the middle) with a red glowing crystal triangle forming the bottom left, a green glowing crystal triangle forming the bottom right, and a blue glowing crystal triangle at the top.

The box for the game ActRaiser, which I thought was life-changing. It is a standard Super Nintendo box with the seal of quality in the bottom left corner, the big Super Nintendo Entertainment System logo on the bottom, Licensed by Nintendo in the top right, the Enix logo on the middle right, and the weird four-button SNES graphic thing in the bottom right corner. Above the Enix logo is a box that reads "Create Order From Chaos!" in a thin sans serif font. Behind the plethora of logos and declarative statements in black boxes, there is a graphic with the title of the game at the top in a metallic medieval script font, where the tail of the A is connected to an underline that also connects to the tail of the r. Behind the title is a cracked and aged gold medallion, beneath which is a stack of lightning bolts blasting down from an overcast sky onto a collection of pyramids in a desert landscape.

The cover for Audible by Football, Etc., which I thought was fine. Across the middle of the cover is two sets of double white lines that are partially faded out. The band name appears in lowercase sans serif font between the two sets of lines on the left and the record title is on the right in a typewriter serif font with some chunks taken out. The background is a set of faded photos rotated and overlaid to make an artistic print in blues and beiges including some human figures upside down in the top right and one right side up on the bottom left, a telephone pole in the bottom right that is sideways and various clouds, grey and blue skies, and scenes from flat and empty US states maybe.

The image is a triptych of trapezoidal shaped scenes of a square-headed anime-style lamb who also happens to lead a cult. The left scene shows the lamb hanging out in a field with blooming flowers as a butterfly flaps by. A serene look is on the lamb's face, unlike in the right scene where the lamb is clearly pleased with its evil-doing as it stands atop a skull and some items with symbols behind it. The red sky highlights another creature with a frightened look on its face in the background. The middle scene shows the lamb levitating and crying black tears as it enters a trance-like state with big red circle eyes. Some slain monsters lie at its feet and some hooks hang from the sky. The title of the game is at the top of this scene in all caps with the Cult of the Lamb part very stylized in a sort of scratchy but very vertical font. The "of the" part is 1/3 as high as the rest and has the lamb's cult leader hat image above it and some culty symbols in a half circle above that. Heretic Edition appears below the title and is also in all caps but a classy serif font.

The arcade banner for Ivan "Ironman" Stewart's Super Off Road, which I thought was not great. It is a picture of a racing truck in a stadium doing a jump. Below the jumping truck is the words OFF ROAD in all caps sans serif font that has been shifted and cut off several times to look like it is vibrating. The word "super" appears in a little shield in the O of Off Road. Just above the title and below the jumping truck is the word ironman. The seats in the stadium behind are all red and blue and you can tell because they are empty.
