It's SO good.

It has silly humor and and genuine heart in equal measure. A hard balance. And I miss John Candy very much.

It's a film that gets better with each passing year. A real treasure.

I remember some places having that brown tinge, for sure. Mostly old halls like the local Elks Lodge, the Knights of Columbus hall, the VFW hall, etc. Even in the late 2000s, those places were like tobacco-coated time machines.

I haven't played in over a decade! But I'm thinking about re-stringing the guitars and giving it a whirl again.

My band was called Rivers Edge and I played lead guitar. We recorded only a few songs, two of which are still online. Man, this feels like forever ago!
