Keep Practicing and don't use three cards. Use Five cards. I like five because you have a Beginning, Middle and End. It helps when first learning how to blend the story. The first card initiates, the third card is the core theme, the final card could be the possible outcome or how all the previous

Omg YES! Not always but sometimes. It depends. Sometimes I'll lay the cards out to discern how I want to cast. What type of spell, the ingredients, the flow of it. Is it complex? so I'll use Tarot for the pre-work.
