Daemon and caraxes have been one of the only (presumably) rider/dragon duo of the Blacks that has played at war with Vhagar. Daemon and Laena dueled on dragon back. Daemon knows vhaegar and her mannerisms intimately.

I love that Rhaenyra's pronunciation of Valyrian is so different from Daenerys' Valyrian. The change in dictation and enunciation with the command "dracarys" has really cool phonetic differences. Goes to show how centuries can change the language!
