Understanding my values pulled me away from bad belief and ideology (but it took way too long). I’m no interested in that perspective. It doesn’t feel like I’m in an echo chamber, but that I have been freed from one.

But here’s the thing, I grew up in very conservative evangelical Christianity, I have a theology degree from a very conservative Christian college and I stayed in conservative Christianity far longer than I should have.
