I just had the “echo chamber” conversation with someone who felt I might benefit from listening to alternative perspectives than the (far) left.

Capitalistic Individualism is great for fascism because people will do very little unless the systems/powers specifically target them as an individual. It’s a recipe for an easy power grab.

There is a deliberate attempt to expand what we consider acceptable.
An example, Musk tested the waters with his “gesture”& conservatives are actively defending what he did. The acceptability of that action has now increased. We will see more & more people doing it.

I’ve been taking mediation/conflict resolution courses. It’s been interesting to observe social media interactions with this lens. So many thoughts. 🤔

So far we are not off to a great start.
