generally, I love a college au, a friends-to-lovers story, a character study, or a sci-fi/space au! I also really love when an author writes a very niche au, or gives characters very niche jobs, esp when it's based on personal experience. it's t's always so fun to read!

I think I'll go for the mini for sure! my longest completed fic to date is 18k, and after that I want to say 12k, so I think this is a somewhat manageable goal 😁

In the claiming process, artists will be allowed to claim for up to three fics. We are also asking artists to submit their trope/theme preferences, with optional submission for fourth and fifth choices. Claims are matched on a first come first serve basis, and in the event that an artists' choices have already been claimed, we also use their given trope/theme preferences to match them as closely as possibly to the fics they've submitted as their top choices. Of course, all of this also depends on the number of artists that sign up so we encourage you to spread the word and invite your artist friends to join (without giving away your fic concept of course)!
