I know the benefits that recreational reading have brought me, my children and students I’ve interacted with throughout my career, so I don’t make the comment I made lightly or without any actual context.

As a former school librarian, I worked tirelessly to help students become recreational readers because I know that recreational reading can positively impact students as they move through their academic careers and lives in general.

I have seen this and it is a very well done documentary that tugs at the heart strings, makes you feel scared and most importantly proud of the profession and the librarians sharing their stories in the film. A MUST SEE film.
