The pages I needed to print vs the misprints because of my stupid HP printer. I should charge them for the paper wasted.

Asked a friend for advice and alu-foil and WD40 helped getting it a little more silvery again. I went at it a few times, so I guess that's all I can achieve right now.

However, new place new setups. This metal thingy serves as a ruler when cutting signatures, provides something to push signatures against and thriples as a press.

Also, first time attempting more than one colour with my trusty hot foil quills. Not too bad, but precision won't be a thing. 🤪

Also, trimming with only ruler and cutter knife is prone to give you some very not straight edges. But at least they're smoother than non-trimmed.

I've typeset and bound the Bifrost Incident by the Mechanisms. Courtesy of two fellow bookbinders I've got fancy corners and apple leather. And courtesy of Mum and her sewing machine, getting the leather and cloth together was easy (for me 🤭).

A little single signature bind for Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck, complete with translation, I did for a meetup and book swap with other bookbinders. Did a little caterpillar stitch on the cover. :D

Tried Ethiopian style binding today. Getting those holes punched and shoved between the two boards without ripping the cardboard proved to be quite tricky.
I like the kinda rustic vibe of the bind, though.
