No they do have concern. Only when someone tells then cyclist will hurt you though. Death and serious injury is just one of those things they can do nothing about when it’s car drivers. If only someone competent was in charge 🤷

Designs are for a single direction cycle lane along side the pavement with a kerb. Fully expect it to be parked on once open. Rest of route planned for same through the High St. Elm Row take 2

Taken a few across town for just over a quid. Super quick and easy, much quicker than a bus and that's usually without any safe or dedicated infrastructure - including no floating bus stops. Could be used by everyone if those things were available. So much potential.

They hate pedestrians and walkers. Any excuse to close any of it. They'll try and close it again in the spring for lambing in case walkers or cyclists "disturb" the sheep. SUV's driving to their golf course is apparently fine
