This is a great reason to vaccinate your child against COVID-19, unless you enjoy spending time in the ER or urgent care clinic.

I'm glad to see this, especially because these universities usually have generous in-house grants for low income students like I was.

Since the federal #studentloans programs just cut advanced degree financing access, this might help keep the door open.

Without affirmative action, colleges prioritize economic diversity in admissions
America's top campuses remain crowded with wealth, but some prestigious colleges are enrolling record numbers of low-income students.

High deductible health plans are only good if you have:
1) minimal chronic #health problems, and
2) low likelihood of needing anything beyond a physical and an occasional sick visit

Otherwise, you risk medical-financial catastrophe.

Republicans push high deductible plans and health savings accounts
A Republican call to give Americans cash instead of health insurance subsidies revives an old idea that has left millions with medical debt.

Remove national holidays... replace with our despot's birthday.

How is this not a huge red flag for a free society?

#CDC has absolutely lost all credibility. Please turn to trusted sources like @aafp.org and @ameracadpeds.bsky.social, where we are still doing the work to keep our communities healthy.

This is absolutely ridiculous.
1) There are no data to say that the new approach works.
2) Antibody levels don't measure cellular immunity.
3) They're forcing parents to get an unnecessary blood draw and after each dose.

An awareness day is absolutely a strategy, especially now that we have a bi-*annual* subcutaneous (superficial) shot to prevent people from contracting #HIV. This is a game-changer. We should be leading the implementation, not cowering from the fallout of yanking support for #AIDS eradication.

Adding fiber is the most common thing that I recommend:
-it can absorb excess cholesterol (so your body doesn't)
-it levels out blood sugar spikes that can lead to diabetes
-it helps you feel satisfied by your meal
-and yes, it helps keep your 💩 comfortable
