My family is like that, and the cognitive dissonance is really bizarre. My dad was born in the 50s, he's seen firsthand why the polio and MMR vaccines are important, but he also completely buys all the nonsense he sees on Facebook.

I'm not particularly artistic but I've gotten that itch to make something.

As much as I hate it though there's almost certainly someone sitting on a zero day exploit, waiting for Win10 EOL to deploy it, so staying on Win10 and staying connected would be unwise.

I believe MS is offering extended support for a fee, but it really sucks.
Doubly so due to the recent news of Win11 possibly killing NVMe SSDs with Phison controllers when performing writes >50GB, not two months from Win10 EOL.

My gas stove is a significantly better experience to actually cook on than any electric range I've tried. Have I tried a good electric range? Probably not, but having fine, immediate heat control is really wonderful.
Infinitely worse to clean, though. God that thing is a nightmare.
