I fucking hate all things AI.
(now, if only I could use anchor-position in shape() and use shape() in an svg's 'd' property, that'd make my life significantly easier...)

neat!

I'm slowly working on refactoring a node graph to use anchor positioning for connective lines and a bounding box:

it's fun, innit?

inside to outside feels far more intuitive.

my humble suggestion:

the silos and ring on this guy are a wonderful feature, even if the overall form of the thing doesn't quite fit:

not sure it'd be useful for you, but if it can serve as a starting point for clutter control, instead of going from scratch, for the new studio.

paint racks, bins, mini drawer units, trays, travel cases, workstations and the like. all open, and even made a website for making SVG patterns.

(and to be clear, I don't hold those companies/services *solely* responsible, either)

I'm not trying to split hairs, but thinking of it as "inevitable" I feel, removes some degree of accountability and responsibility on those who still make that decision, you know.
October 29, 2025 at 4:35 PM
I also get why and how there are such economic pressures to do so, but still, each and everyone of them decided it was a good idea. It wasn't inevitable, so much as a amss cascade of disregard or dismissal of the consequences.
October 29, 2025 at 4:35 PM
lol, fair: I don't mean to use "they" so conspiracy theorist like. What I mean is that it's only inevitable because those who decide to bring such a "tool" to market decide that it's okay to bring such a tool to market.

I get that that's a very vast swathe of companies and services
October 29, 2025 at 4:35 PM
I dont mean then specifically, I mean they in a more general sense
October 29, 2025 at 4:14 PM
it's only "inevitable" because they have chosen for it to be.
