They were replaced by Hearth which is now a successful bakery/cafe in the same location; however, Hearth is (anecdotally) less busy than Novo was on e.g. farmers market days.

I'm not sure I have the whole story, but it sounds like the landlord has been doing this a lot.

This was the location. From what I understood the landlord (who as I recall owns most of that block) jacked up their rent substantially. They ended up moving out despite being one of the darlings of the neighbourhood.
