It does, esp with older pets or pets who hate the vet (or both). Rass used to be more tolerant of vet visits, but at this point he's always absolutely terrified and angry, so I only take him when there's no other way. It's good to have ppl to call to ask how necessary the visit is!

Personally, I don't necessarily value one more than the other. I've got realism faves by you as well as stylized faves. I do feel like it's valuable to me being able to spot these deliberate choices simply by looking at your body of work -- hence "complementary".

Do you feel like the two styles are complementary? I know you can paint realism, which informs how I look at your stylized paintings: I know the stylization was a deliberate choice. The same is true vice versa: a realistic painting by you I also understand as a deliberately not stylized painting.

Anyway. Not trying to start an argument, just idly musing. The open source community has made it a core point to share stuff freely & publicly, stuff that LLMs use to commodify coding skill (badly, but it doesn't seem like many ppl care). Seems iffy, but idk how the community feels abt it.

Both are public places of sharing crafted materials. My code is more obviously based on other ppl's work than my fic, but I'm wondering if that's not just the nature of the material: it's not like my fic isn't inspired by other work, or like I created the genre/ tropes I'm writing in.

I'm keeping my palette humble by drinking the nice coffee max once/day & otherwise slurping the sludge from the machine (mainly bc tasty coffee nice but machine just *so much faster*), but I do seem to have introduced "nice coffee" into my life. Who knows where this'll lead!
