Flooding is expected along the San Saba River from tonight through the weekend. The National Weather Service has issued Flood Warnings for Brady, Menard, and San Saba. Heavy rain will push the river above flood stage.

417PM: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for parts of the eastern Texas Panhandle, including Amarillo, Panhandle, Claude, Lake Tanglewood, Washburn and Palo Duro Canyon, until 5 PM. Storms are moving northeast around 40 mph with wind gusts up to 60 mph and penny-size hail. #TXwx

806PM: Two severe storms are ongoing in Northwest Texas and the Big Country this evening.
The storm near Henrietta is producing golfball-size hail as it moves northeast.
Another severe storm northeast of Haskell is tracking toward Throckmorton County.
Stay alert and have ways to receive warnings.

11/19 1:50PM | Heavy rain and flooding will be a growing concern across the northern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country tonight through Thursday. The greatest flash flood threat extends from Del Rio to Junction and parts of the Hill Country, where several inches of rain may fall in a short time.

11/16 930AM: Radar is picking up a smoke plume from a fire at the old P.H. Robinson Power Plant in Bacliff, southeast of Houston. The fire’s been burning since early this morning, and the smoke is mostly drifting out over Galveston Bay.
