If I were just slightly more conspiracy theory-minded, I would say that the Republicans are forcing Trump to fall on the Epstein sword because they know he's not going to be alive this time next year.

Still 95% sure there's some kind of catch with the Epstein docs release, but 5% of me wonders if Trump has convinced himself that even though it's completely clear he raped children, no one will actually care.

The top line numbers aren't the interesting part - what's interesting is 1% undecided almost a year out. That's proof positive that the generic American is paying more attention than usual, and they're not happy.

Actually I wanna discuss just this - are there any working actors still today that have that auteur feeling? Not just that people see movies just because the actor is in them, but that the actor being in the movie lets you know exactly what kind of movie it's going to be?
People are acting like this is some sort of referendum on Sydney Sweeney herself, but I just don't think people see actors that way like they used to. There's no "auteur" actors - you don't go to see a Sydney Sweeney Movie™ like people did Julia Roberts or Adam Sandler movies.

Two questions here to think about:
1) Does coaching through the SEC championship game, but leaving before the playoffs (or selection ceremony) count as "getting" the team to the playoffs?
2) Does announcing you're leaving equate to leaving if you still coach games after it?

See this is where we are going to actually have to lawyer out some language, because the bet that is that he would get them a top four seed. If he coaches in all the games that are part of the decision-making process, I would argue that is him getting the seed, even if he's gone for the announcement
