For most of us, $100 could go towards groceries, housing, healthcare, childcare and more. For Elon Musk, it wouldn’t even be worth him picking up a dropped $100 bill….

One way we push back on this extreme inequality: properly tax the rich.

Super Bowl Ads 2026
I watched ~100 ads, and there are more, but I'm done.
Here's my notes on this year's Super Bowl ads.

As one does in 2026, I was keyword searching the Epstein Files.

Oddly, I hit a 1,000 page document filled with emails from some (non Epstein) email account that had a Google alert for the word “prison” and extensive emails/spreadsheets on prison conditions.

To unterstand the Gini coefficient, one needs to know how it was computed (description of the quantiles etc.). But graphs like the one shown below still can be used to illustrate the change of that measure over time.
2/12 Economically, we were torn apart in the 1980s as #inequality and #poverty soared to levels not seen since the 1920s. We have not recovered. Gross #inequality now seems the norm. No subsequent government has even tried to reverse the damage wrought in the 1980s.
