Our case’s goal “is to ensure that the DOGE agents are kicked out of the OPM systems & that they have deleted any information they may have copied,” along with plugging any holes from this unauthorized sharing, EFF’s @mariotrujillo.bsky.social told @techpolicypress.bsky.social.

Who else got their insurance premium increases this week?

We have really, really good insurance and ours is up 26% for 2026.

I’m feeling lucky, because the increases I’m hearing from others is shocking.

How much did your insurance go up?
It doesn’t sound dissimilar from newly hired folks at Amazon. Of course, nobody tracks their hours, and WA’s Labor Dept looks the other way. It’s common knowledge in Seattle that hires work 12 to 16 hour days regularly until they burn out. Often, they go into the office on weekends or WFH.

Today, we have the power to demonstrate that pro-democracy #NoKings demonstrators don’t hate America, they’re not members of “antifa.” We’re friends, neighbors, and fellow citizens who believe in American democracy — and want to keep it.

Feeling the high ROI from hand pollinating our apple trees. Our 2025 apple crop is amazing for two little apple trees in a container garden!
I wish more of my policy, governance, public health, and data friends would peek over there to get a sense of the current state of the covid pandemic.

I increasingly get the feeling it’s not something the political class want to look at, but if you’re trying to set policy, you absolutely should.
There are hundreds, maybe thousands of folks who are Covid-informed, reaching out to the newly sick, reminding them about Paxlovid and the peer reviewed research on post covid radical rest when their doctors don’t.

The UK and Canadian voices with no treatment options, just growing disability rates
…and scrolling through the many posts you’ll see with folks flabbergasted by their 4th to 8th covid infection. Those slowly realizing they have long covid. Exasperated parents with frequently ill kids.

Then, the covid cautious posting fresh peer reviewed studies that get 36 likes from their choir…
The Threads algorithm hyper-fixates on anything you engage with. So it over represents a topic as a world view.

But, whew, Threads is a an immersive look at how covid, long covid, and humanity’s desperate (and inaccurate) need for cosplaying “normal” intertwine.

It’s worth searching key words…

Fourteenth inning???!!!??
How would that work? What value would I get out of it?
It's a long story, but I have over $2,000 in Airtable credits. Um...what do I do with them?
How are they accessible if there is no elevator?
With the number of layoffs, the freeze on young people entering the tech workforce, and so much of what has been built sitting empty (looks at the townhomes that are “new” on Redfin but empty for 9 months), what needs to be built is not what the field is prepared to build— low income housing.

If we have ancestors watching, the shame they must feel.

America has never been perfect, certainly not in WWII, but the massive effort of tens of millions of our grandparents just… underminded because some people…

Americans—their grandkids gave it away, being radicalized on social media. The promise of a middle class salary was all their grandkids needed to turn against their country.

All the cemeteries filled w/young Americans killed in combat. All the friends my grandpa told me about who didn’t come back…

Every time I see video of ICE agents, I think about how devistated those ICE agent’s WWII-fighting grandparents would be, seeing their grandkids become the very thing the Greatest Generation fought against.

An entire generation survived the Great Depression, then rose up to fight fascism & protect…
Woman at Seattle cafe: "I love your whole outfit! Where did you get it?"

Me: "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to say, 'I bought this in Paris this weekend."

We both laughed. And then I gave her the name of the brand: Make My Lemonade. Check it out if you're ever in #Paris, ladies.🍋
