Yeah, my grandmother was blunt as hell and I don't think an AI could even pretend to imitate her.

She was also racist- if you take that out, is it still her? You can't leave it in! But also you can't take it out because it's been a problem all along!

(Also my answer to the headline is no 🤣)

This is very good and also a bit scary!

Anybody who's for social media bans for kids didn't see what 2020 did to those kids. Online friends saved my kiddo's life!

Does that mean that kids should have unsupported and unlimited access to social media? Nope! But harm reduction isn't a sexy sound byte solution, unfortunately!

(I know Smartpress in Minnesota does accordion folds in a wide range of sizes, but I'm not sure if the math works out for you to wirk with a US printer!)

Plus then you can sing the additional coffee song as you brew your second cup! 🎶☕➕

I'm going to the creative reuse store Friday and I'm hoping to get some weird art supplies!

I would be screaming right along with you!

Thank you! It was mostly just stubbornness 🤣

Your ribbing is so even! And I love how the color kind of trails over a bit on the bottom edge!

My yarn is Rainbows & Clouds from @thelemonadeshop.bsky.social !

I knitted a similar hat and it was wild to get such real time feedback about my tension- I pulled out so many rows! For a bit I just let the rainbow travel around so the other side wouldn't all be all white.

Meg's Vest is knit out of braided copper wire as a kind of modern chainmail. It won't stop bullets, but it keeps sharp points out of your insides well enough.

Meg's full name was lost to time, but many have whispered silent thanks to her for keeping them alive.

Run two competing games of The Climb by @jmstar.bsky.social and see who gets to the summit fastest and who doesn't come home.

I can't decide if I'm more interested in making a game inside a tunnel book or trying to make the game design version of a tunnel book (how to present limited layers, mechanically focus on one at a time, etc)

How old it feels to feel young is going to haunt me the rest of my days

It's helped me push my goals from productivity-oriented (I'm terrible at these, hate goals I made last week, and feel like I've failed if I don't do them) to more general directions I want to move in (build trust & belonging w/myself, make cool things happen for me & mine, etc)

Inserting cards from other games as adware is genius

Put em on a flash drive (or burn them to a cd, if the giver & receiver both have the tech) and wrap that.

Make a scavenger hunt (digital or physical) that leads them to QR codes.

Each QR code in its own themed notebook (slip-cased together, if you like)
