Decided to do a little bit of practice based on those Pinterest art tutorials.
Lighting Practice on a latex swimsuit done by me. The headless, grey model wears a green swimsuit that has soft lighting on the right-hand side of the model. Slight cast shadows can be seen on the breasts and left side of the torso, but the core shadow is directly in the center of the stomach, making the highlights on the right of the torso pop out even more.

Maybe it's just my midwestern ass, but there's something I love about this aesthetic that I'd kill to replicate in my own art. The lights could probably be a bit warmer to give it a cozier feeling, but this is just great to me.

Lately, I feel like my art has been aimless. Not when it comes to established IPs or other people's OCs, but with my own characters and my art style. Like, I feel like I KNOW what I want when it comes to my art style (retro comic stuff), but I don't know how to get there.
