That's okay, everyone is nervous broaching these topics. It takes a little bravery. But doctors are typically, unless you live in specifically very pro-fascist territory, informed enough people that they make no issue of pursuing gender affirming care. At the least, they can provide information.

You could pursue laser hair removal! Or if you decide to take T-blockers, it should substantially slow your facial hair growth.
The main idea is just to de-stigmatize the idea of using hormone technology. It's available, it's pretty safe, it's a great way to customize your character.

I've been using estrogen for one year. I've noticed a lot of changes, though any one change to my body has not been particularly pronounced. The shape of my body fat is probably the most significant change, however minor.
I am considering taking T-blockers now for hair regrowth.
