His acting during the time of two crichtons is genuinely excellent

Absolute fucking pablum, so no surprise he's funded to the gills. The dumber you are the better you do.

But if they did that they wouldn't be showing their belly to the fascists and might incur their wrath.

Beans beans, it's where it starts,
the harder they hit the greater the art,
the more are thrown the better you feel,
so let's chuck beans with lots of zeal.

Interesting.

If they can't fight this because they'd be destroyed and so have to collaborate with fascism, then I'd rather they be destroyed. Better gone than collaborating. This applies to basically every organisation.
December 3, 2025 at 5:17 PM
Also which parts of that organisation would, having caved on this issue, be safe from the fascists next demands?
December 3, 2025 at 5:15 PM
That's a wild thing to speculate about.

I don't really appreciate someone blowing up on me over shit that has nothing to do with me (and claiming things without evidence) so I'll just block Dominic and move on. Thanks for the clarification.

Are you sure? It seems like exactly the type of task they would now be using (bad) automated tools for.
December 3, 2025 at 5:08 PM
I also don't think it's suspicious, it just seemed inconsistent to me based on the reporting I saw.

Looking at solely the account here it is much less inconsistent. www.horses.wtf/BannedFromSt...
Why is HORSES Banned from Steam?
First person horror adventure HORSES was unjustly refused by Steam prior to release with no path to appeal.

So this directly contradicts what OP was saying, that Valve demanded they cut the scene, they did, then they still refused to platform it because it had previously existed.

I'll let the two of you argue that one, I haven't seen any evidence one way or the other on that.
December 3, 2025 at 5:04 PM
They do appear to be very inconsistent. They're probably using shitty automation to do it too.
December 3, 2025 at 4:54 PM
I haven't seen evidence of that from their point of view. Have you? All I've seen is the statement from 2023.

Either way from their point of view it probably makes sense to avoid doing further business with the developers who submitted a game with a child in a sexually suggestive scene.
December 3, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Valve should be held over the coals for all the actually bad things they do (a massive laundry list of harmful shit), not for declining to platform a game they determined had a sexually suggestive scene with a child in it. That's a totally reasonable thing, if very inconsistent with other cases.
December 3, 2025 at 4:27 PM
This is in contrast with the developer claim (which they are inconsistent about) that they weren't given the reason it wasn't allowed on Steam.
December 3, 2025 at 4:25 PM
I'm not American and didn't claim it was sexually suggestive (how could I, I haven't seen the scene and presumably neither have you). I said Steam were clear that's why they declined to platform it.

As to it not existing for years, it existed when Steam made the decision (2023) to not platform.

Must enjoy these victories, they seem so few these days.

If you dress like the northern chinese and koreans do (long black puffer style coats) you can walk around in total comfort in cold weather. I just wear a tshirt under mine and it's toasty.
December 3, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Not really my cup of tea but all these stories about the game will probably result in it selling more than it otherwise would have. The studios previous biggest game sold like 2000 copies on Steam.
December 3, 2025 at 4:15 PM
I don't doubt that this is true, but I also find the developers story about how it failed the Steam submission process to be inconsistent. From the response that was published it's pretty clear Steam didn't platform it because the version submitted had a child in a sexually suggestive situation.
