Lol so our older neighbor, who is racist and has a thing for my spouse, had people "clear" her sidewalk and walkway to the house she doesn't live in but owns. The sidewalk you see is our property line. She tells them that where there's a little less ice is where her property stops. It's not.

Gee I sure fucking hope so since clearly shooting at everyone didn't fix what you thought it would.
Trump's border czar said the administration is “not surrendering our mission at all” but instead doing it “smarter.”

Nearly half of the mortality gap between Black and White adults can be traced to the cumulative toll of a lifetime of stress and heightened inflammation, a new study shows.
New evidence shows how discrimination shortens lives in Black communities
Researchers linked higher inflammation levels to decades of stress, including discrimination and economic hardship.

I'm curious what makes people think that it's a good idea to ask someone who left a major company for their insight and guidance in their org for a startup. Does the thought of an existing NDA not come up? Not everyone can tell you their experiences from past employment in that capacity.

We were at the movies earlier and one of the Coke ads was playing, the usual, "Coke is for everyone."
Husband: "Yeah, Coke is for everyone unlike Pepsi" (he doesn't like Pepsi, but I do)
Me: "You're right because Pepsi is for the gays" 🤷🏾‍♀️
He laughed so hard that he almost got us removed

Please know if I'm hearing you actively misgender someone and I know for a fact you know, I will interrupt you and correct you. It's one thing to make a mistake. It's another to make an effort to be disrespectful.

I know this sounds petty and ridiculous but the way I'm about to sell our LG washer and dryer because LG apparently can't figure out how to unlink an old social login link from my email address since August is pretty ridiculous

I'm just meal prepping and canning this weekend. Made some chicken and turkey stock and now it's in the pressure canner. If you're going to can, please use safe and tested recipes so you don't off someone with botulism. NCHFP says 25 minutes for meat stock for my elevation.

If the phrase `open source` means nothing to you
imagine if your favorite app worked like Wikipedia and anyone could come along and edit it

that's how the code for Blacksky works
anyone can edit it

it's also how our docs work; if you think something's missing or could be improved, change it

I'm begging y'all to stop tagging the people you're sending direct messages to in Slack and Teams. You're already either in a group chat with them or a 1:1 DM. You don't need to @ them too. Lol just slow down a little. I know Slack likes to auto tag but you can stop that from happening.

Wild that after everything we've been through, some of y'all still refuse to wash your hands and cover your mouths when you cough. This is why I'm still masking. We've learned nothing and this is why the T-virus is going to end us all a lot quicker than Resident Evil claimed.

I can highly highly recommend, if you are going to be away from home for a couple of weeks, making a comfort soup & freezing it beforehand so that when you return at roughly dinnertime with a jetlagged body that hungers for it knows not what, you can feel like a souper genius
