Californians want AI regulation.

This was the big takeaway of our 2025 AI Compass report detailing how Californians really feel about AI. An overwhelming majority specifically favors policies that protect privacy (81%), enforce civil rights (73%), and enact non-discrimination rules (73%).

Why is everything so expensive these days? There are a lot of reasons, but among them is that competitors are using algorithms to collude, raising prices together.

That’s why we’re thrilled that Governor Gavin Newsom signed the Preventing Algorithmic Price Fixing Act #AB325 into law!
