The next generation don’t vote. There are fewer of them due to demographics but even then they don’t vote. Parties will pander to ppl who do - the boomers who’ll always vote in their own immediate interests cos they’re not going to be around for climate and societal collapse

That’s what they used to think but the research indicates that old advice was wrong. Phytoestrogens don’t act in the body like estrogen. Have a look on PubMed if you want evidence

I’ve had breast cancer and my doctor recommended I increase my soy intake as it’s associated with a lower risk of recurrence. My cancer was estrogen positive

Note phytoestrogens aren’t estrogen and have some opposite effects. For example reducing the risk of breast cancer but also reducing the risk of prostrate cancer in men. Japanese have lower rates of these cancers due to all the soy they eat

Vegan Icecream is great but even as a vegan I wouldn’t recommend vegan cheese. I was recommended not to eat it the first year I went vegan - once you forget what it tastes like it’s fine

I blocked the idiot BTW, but the idea that if a woman tells a story about being abused, like my butch lesbian friend's story, it's only believable if you give names, dates & location. Which of course I'm not going to do! Women are of course not believed - DOXing the person doesn't help that

I said on Bluesky, after watching the DNC that they failed to mention the working class. I was told that in USA working = middle class. I was sceptical but enough ppl said it I thought they must be right. Now I realise I was onto something. Shame

He’s chasing the Reform UK votes. Also this Supreme Court ruling was started in 2018 under the previous government so he’s recently on the band wagon

I thought we were having a friendly discussion? And surely you can see why ppl are not going to give names when talking about discrimination. If you Google it you’ll stories where women have reported incidents if you want “evidence”

Thank you. We’re hoping it’ll stabilise her blood pressure. She’s currently on 5 different meds and it still gets dangerously high. Dead kidneys pump out hormones that raise BP

I was sharing a story not giving evidence. And I know the person it happened to but won’t disclose personal details. It’s not an isolated story at all - it’s quite common in the lesbian community

Of course. Why do ppl think corporations had DEI policies? Because it increased their profits that’s the only reason they do anything. Cancelling DEI for misguided political reasons is stupid business

That's your trauma talking. Why would you believe you are likeable if your own family didn't accept you? But the truth is you are perfectly likeable and some autistic/ADHD friends might be just the thing you need. Be brave and don't let those negative voices hold you back.

Good luck with that (for her). I'm being overwhelmed with messages from friends who know my allyship (and my NB son) and want to let me know they support trans ppl. I'm asking ppl to support the Good Law Project if they want to put their money where their mouth is. A lot of cis-het ppl are allies
