And yes, the penny shims are also slightly painted. Glad to say I FIXED THIS FOR REAL.

The closet door I worked on this morning had a plastic stick-on hook that was 1. broken and. 2. painted over.

Since I had the heat gun out anyway, I decided to go ahead and remove it.

I mean, I guess it's good to know that this random piece of debris has a patent pending? 🙄
A broken, cream-colored stick-on hook sits in my hand. This is the back of the same stick-on hook held in my fingers. Where the backing pulled off, it reads "patent pending" in purple letters. This is the cream-colored door after a stick-on hook was scraped off. There is a brown diamond shape left on that spot.
