I mean this as respectfully as I can manage -- I cannot picture a demographic who asked for this in 2025

I'm sure I could find the place to do that pretty easily. I don't do that kind of thing often tbh, I think I'm paranoid that it affects how I'm seen by other prospective employers

I'm reaching a point that feels close to bullying lol. I've started calling places saying like "is this real or not, because do not make me go over there for less than what I need or less than what you're advertising" this place lied over the phone but it's fine, it has to be fine

maybe today! this job I'm interviewing for pays more and has less direct customer service than what I'm currently doing

them: remember when you were 30 minutes late and we didn't kick you out because we're so gracious and kind

me: remember when you DID kick me out for a week and wouldn't let me work because SOMEONE ELSE didn't clean a coffee machine??

unfortunately I live at the place where I work

by "have to" I mean I'm pretty sure I was verbally blackmailed with "remember when you were late the other day and we didn't kick you out" which felt great, wonderful mindset for 7am on a Monday, hooray or whatever

staff knows what happened, they know who is responsible and who is an accidental victim. they're not making a big deal of it as long as everyone's chill, which so far they are, so?

I introduced myself as "hi, I'm shelley duvall" and almost peed my pants laughing. they know.

I'm playing pokemon and forgetting what I'm doing as I go because I'm getting distracted by awful graphics. I've never tried skyrim after gardening but I fear it would be worse, so I'm sticking with what makes me look less conspicuous

also by the time the "oh shit am I gonna be the snitch" paranoia kicked in, he had already been found out lol I'm decent at hiding it when I'm a little tipsy (I've been told I don't change much at all) but I cannot hide a gardening session
