Thanks. And you're right - he still could do a really good job for Canada. I'm too old to count on that, but I'm also an optimist.

Who could have predicted this?

Makes perfect sense if you've been watching America's adventures in Cuba, Central America, Iran & other places over the last 70 years. These are people who want the reins of power for their own purposes.

(I'm not sure if that's helpful - just more blather from me.)

He's an accomplished business guy with lots of experience dealing with banking stuff & national economies. Making him more our Head Bureaucrat, & not so much a "political" leader.

But that also means trickle-down economics is his theory of government. Uncaring is what that looks like.

What part of "if we do it to them, they're going to do it to us" do they not get?

Both in word and deed.

Surely Jason Kenney saw the writing on the hairy ass of separatism and left the ship before the rest.

They're completely in the dark about how this could work, but won't listen to anyone who understands what would have to happen.

Meanwhile, we live in a province where the people we PAY to run the gov are abdicating their responsibilities so they can cosplay some characters from Atlas Shrugged.
