Saw a short video of somebody making a neon sign wall art with spray paint and I wanted to see if I could recreate it in pixel art. What do you think? Anything I can improve?

Pushed myself to do a bit of art during the weekend. Took a day to get these fun little sprite animations of foods being eaten Tamagotchi style. There's a chocolate bar, a cake, an apple pie, a chocolate croissant, a bunch of cookies, and a pizza.

I thought I should try to art today to try to get myself out of a funk. I've been... uh... thinking a lot about my own mortality and it hasn't been sitting well in my mind. I dunno if this is because of depression or I'm just... nuts, but I've been stuck in my own thoughts about it.

Just a collection of August sprite I've been working on that I didn't post yet. After Art Fight 2025 I had been feeling a little more motivated to do art and its been nice kinda enjoying spriting again after a long while of being dried up creatively and energy-wise.

Journal elements for printing and pasting in a journal page. There are colorful apples and a bunch of bows for Apple Day and International Bow Day. More printable journal elements with a variety of different Choux Lapin's, Zant's (both in different costumes for Charity, First Aid Day, and a dessert theme), a bunch of sandwiches (hot dogs, submarine, and burger), and then some characters from fairytales Little Red Riding Hood and The Red Shoes respectively. Some dragon designs with color schemes for a little poll thing I made, they were done in a rush so they're a little shoddy. (L-R) a cool-colored sea serpent, a warm-colored volcano dragon, a pastel fairy dragon, and an earthy armored dragon. Rock-Paper-Scissors icons for a personal thing I was making.

Malamar is so cool, you guys. One of the coolest Pokemon out there! I am OBSESSED WITH IT! Can you think of any more Pokemon as perfect as Malamar? I love Malamar SO MUCH!

Mega Hawlucha is probable one the most well-liked Z-A Mega Evos to pop up so far and I can see why. A cute but beefy lil luchador bird that's got all that sparkle going on. I'm definitely a fan~

It's kinda crazy how much more positive the reaction to Mega Victreebel seems to be compared to Dragonite as a mega #pokemon , but I Iike both of them are adorable, silly creatures. I think we can all say that the visual of it spewing its gastric acid all over the place was iconic.

Mega Victreebel is a large, rotund, yellow water balloon-like plant creature. It's identified as a pitcher plant but this creature has two fangs, two eyes, and a pink lip-like opening. This sprite art depicts it spewing its acidic stomach fluids all over the place similar to its reveal trailer.

#WorldNeverGiveUpDay is on Aug. 18 and it's a great chance to show the world what we can do but at the same time to pace our expectations in our work and ourselves. Here are some Choux Lapin's with gentle reminders to balance yourselves in whatever you do.

If you need a super chill slice-of-life anime w/o high stakes and has a "taking a break in a cozy cafe to collect my thoughts" kind of vibe, I highly recommend "With You and the Rain". It's so chill and cute and funny, I LOVE IT! The dog/tanuki is honestly one of the best anime creatures.

Just kind of an exercise. I've been trying to move a lot of my stray doodles into notebooks or converting them into pixel art and this one has been sitting in my notepad for a while. Just a cool egg with a patterned liquid inside it.

My Pokemon Sleep app has been telling me I've been sleeping for 6 hours on average and it's never been a problem... but today I felt way too tired than usual. I figured I probably need to nap to kinda balance it out but I have so much I need and want to do through the day...

Been trying to record what I've been eating on the daily and it gives me a chance to practice my pixel arting. We had Jo-ann's fishballs, which is fish paste rolled into balls and then deep fried on a stick. It was chewy, flavorful, and the sauce was really good~

I finished all my listed Art Fight 2025 Crystal v Fossil pieces and even a few revenges so I'm just gonna post a thread of what I did for the month. I was also on team Crystal and it seemed kind of 50-50 last I checked. I'll post a separate thread for the gifs, I guess.

Tigers are big ol' cuties, but they won't hesitate to break your neck if you give them a reason to! That said, they are still pretty in danger of being wiped out due to poaching and loss of their natural habitat. So let's be more aware of this!

July 23-Aug. 22 is when Leo's are in the spotlight for the year. The Symbol for the Lion came from the Nemean Lion, a massive near invulnerable Lion that was killed by Heracles (Herculese?) as one of his many great trials.

I had to get this piece out of my system. While Dragonite isn't really my fave 'mon and I initially felt underwhelmed by the reveal, I slowly grew to adore this wingy new Mega form. I hope its reveal means there are more Mega reveals to come on the countdown to Z-A release.

Printed some elements for my journal pages and tried working with 2-pixel outlines. I have to say its very cute and I'd like to work with it a bit more. If you're curious about the flavors of the cake, they're "Biscoff Cheesecake" and "Classic Chocolate Cake". I added a lil Choux too.

Jul. 18 is when a strange little cabbit was born and I do like to acknowledge and smile that it happened~ Am pretty busy with work and art fight this month, but I got to take a bit of a vacation leave and had time to make this. I've wondered what it's like to break free out of your own egg.

I was sick yet busy for a lot of June and didn't have the time and energy to make #PrideMonth2025 art till the literal last day of the month. XD But I definitely think people should be proud of their identity and shouldn't be hurt or hide who they are and want to be. Don't be afraid of your colors.

Been pretty late in prepping for Art Fight 2025 because I got so sick and unmotivated by the tail end of June. So I'm kinda catching up right now and one of the lil guys I'm working on is my old mascot character Oninu.
Oninu, a white, fluffy, cloud-like dog with two yellow horns, a lightning tail that shifts depending on his mood, and tiger-like legs. Oninu's moods (clockwise from upper left): normal electric, rainy sadness, dizzy tornado, and cheerful rainbow.

It's a little mascot character I've been thinking of called Choux Lapin (Shoo La-pan), after the pastry type and 'rabbit' in French. It's just a customizable bun shape with a big, thick, cottony tail. The simple design is to make it easy to customize and decorate depending on the theme.

Choux Lapin ref sheet, a simplified mascot that I've been thinking of for a while. Its simply a small, pale pastel blue bun-like creature with a massive white, cottony tail. You can give him little hats and tail accessories or even completely change his fur color and pattern so I can customize him to any theme. He CAN emote, but doesn't a lot of the time and just has a blank stare 80% of his life. His favorite food are colorful gummi carrots, cutting the middle man of carrots being like candy to bunnies.

I tried my hand on making a little creature for Global Wind Day, and I ended up with this nice little bug creature. Its wings are made of those funny little helicopter seeds and they have elements of things that can be blown by the wind because the element has no physical form.

The Whisperwil, a green, plantlike bug creature who is a sprite that embodies the element of wind. Because wind and air are not physically perceived, they look like things that can be blown by the wind, like cotton, dandelion seeds, samaras, stray leaves, and threads/scrap cloth. When befriended, they create crystallized wind mana made from their own ichor.
